Harmony Hall Exhibit

When I first started photographing, I fell in love with taking pictures of landscapes, so naturally, my first exhibit featured my favorite photos from national parks located in the Washington DC area.

The exhibit took place at the Harmony Hall Regional Center in Fort Washington, Maryland. I showcased five 20x30 inch framed prints including images from Shenandoah National Park, Great Falls National Park, and Bull Run Regional Park.

Exhibits provide a space for others to interact with my artwork and gives me an opportunity to connect with complete strangers by giving them a glimpse into my world.

A few weeks into the exhibit, I received an email from a woman saying, “I fell in love with your work the minute that I saw it displayed at the Harmony Hall Regional Center!” Photography serves as a vehicle for mental teleportation and I am grateful that I can use my art to encourage others to put down their smartphones, step outside and to learn the lessons that are engraved into the barks of the trees and found in the flow of the riverstream.
